The city has a direct railway connection with Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the travel time is 2.5 hours.

The local busses no. 8 and 22 depart from the railway station to the University Medical Center Groningen. The bus stop is situated at the main entrance of the Hospital.

By car

When approaching the city of Groningen by car, please follow the signs which indicate UMCG.

Parking facilities are available in the garage P-Noord, entrance Antonius Deusinglaan (paid parking).

By plane

Groningen Airport Eelde has a direct flight connection with Aberdeen, Manchester and Norwich. Check www.bmi.com for more information. From these airports you can easily reach London or any other destination. Check your travel agency or visit www.expedia.nl.

Train connections link the city with Schiphol International Airport every 30 minutes. Travel time by train is approximately 2,5 hours.
